So on to our BRAND NEW STAFF. OK, they’re not that brand new, but we neverly formally announced them so they’re new as far as I this blog post is concerned.
Rob Kibler (ATA Technician), super tech extraordinaire, with a minor in great communications, joined us due to explicit recommendations from his prior boss at Wispertel. He’s great, he’s fun and best of all he is good at what he does with workstations and site management. He may answer the phone when you have an issue or show up at your business to address an issue requiring a friendly on-site presence.
Paul Miller (ATA Senior Consultant) was highly recommended by the mother of Phillip Short (a great hardware tech that used to work for us). If all he did was make fun of the crazy wiring and (lack of) cabling organization that I ”artistically placed” across clients over the last 12 years I would have loved him. But he went back and fixed (in this syntax ”fixed” means “not only made more functionality, but beautiful and attractive to the eye”) server closets and switch closets. Best of all, he knows servers and intimately understands the uniqueness of every one of our clients. Like Ryan and Rob, I consider myself lucky to have him as part of our team.
Ryan Curtis (ATA Technician and Support Desk Engineer) is almost part of my family. After attending his wedding in La Hoja, California (I am one of the fortunate people in Evergreen to know his in-laws) I had an epiphany, if he can marry such a great women perhaps he could also be an outstanding help desk and proactive maintenance engineer! Previously a web site development guru and Kohl’s customer server manager, Ryan has eagerly joined us to learn how technology can greatly benefit the clients we serve.
